Here is an expanded edition of Hans Reichel's 1987 LP, "The Dawn of Dachsman" [FMP 1140]. When later released on CD, in 1994, eleven additional performances, recorded a few months after the original Dachsman session, were added to create the compilation presented here. The original album runs from track 1 to 12; the "plus" material follows.

Recorded by Jost Gebers and Lutz Pahl in May 1987 at the FMP-Studio in Berlin and by "County" Stegmann in July 1987 in Wuppertal.

The "Dawn of Dachsman" section (1-12) corresponds to the original LP released by FMP in 1987 (FMP 1140).

The "...Plus" section (13-23) was recorded live a few months after the original session, and released as part of an expanded reissue of the first album (FMP CD 060).

All numbers were recorded as played (except one overdub on # 20).
